Joanne Holman of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on November 26, 2025. Joanne served as President of MICHIGAN FEDERATION OF MUSIC CLUBS from 2009-2011. She held many offices in Jackson Tuesday Musicale and participated in additional service groups over the years.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Holman, four children, and five grandchildren. Joanne had many friends and deeply treasured the relationships she developed with members of MFMC. Her family is very appreciative of the MFMC friends who attended her funeral on December 21, 2025. She will be missed by her family members, neighbors, and acquaintances.

Suzanne degerstrom

Suzanne (Sue) Degerstrom, MFMC past Chaplin and Musical Activities Chair, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, in Owosso, MI.
For 63 years, Sue was a pillar of Owosso Musicale, serving in various roles and leaving an indelible mark as a community leader in the arts. Her soprano voice, a cherished gift, resonated not only in her church but also across the community. She was a key member of the Owosso Musicale Chorus and Trio.
The community awarded Sue the honor of Grand Marshall of the Owosso Curwood parade, which was given to only those who had outstanding community work.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Mills, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 92 years.

Dina Soresi Winter

Passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her home in Grosse Pointe Shores at the age of 91. Her death was due to natural causes. Her mood as she passed away was one of peace, tranquility, and quiet contentment. She is survived by her husband, Eric, whom she married in 1970.
